Number keys not working on Linux

Good day,

I am running the game on linux, everything works except the number keys.
I cannot then use shortcuts or fighting actions.

I tried everything possible, nothing worked.
This is not keyboard-layout related.
The digits keys won't work, whatever the client, even the default one.

Can you please, Jorb or Loftar assist me? I cannot play the game properly because of that :'(

Works perfectly normal for me.

I'm not sure how to debug this other than by compiling a custom build to dump the keyboard events in question. Is that something you'd be capable of?

Just to be sure, have you checked the top-row digit keys and/or the numpad digit keys? If your problem is that it only works with the top-row keys but not the numpad, that is the normal case.

I do use the top-row keys and not the numpad ones.
I am more than a beginner in Linux, so I'm afraid I won't be able to do what you ask me.
I can, however, follow instructions.

What happens when you open the chat and type? Do you get any characters when pressing the numbers, if you do: which?

When I press those keys in the chat window, it works. But not for actions in shortcut bar or combat.
When I write in the chat with the US keyboard layout, the digits do appear.

Got a mention from someone that you might be using a French keyboard (AZERTY), delsus? That might explain number keys not working. On Amber/Purus go to Control Settings to enable it.

@loftar, might be usefull to add an option for AZERTY keyboards. https://github.com/romovs/amber/blob/ma ... java#L1467 It's not the first time this issue comes up.
