Is this just a placebo effect, or... am I really experiencing perfectly lag-free gameplay right now?
Please let this be real, please let this be real...

Maybe this was the improvement that the message hinted at?

That's why I'm afraid it's a placebo effect. But seriously, since I logged back in, I have not had a single delay or spike. I haven't had to sit and wait for my character to move, for my cursor to pick up an item, or anything.
I'm enjoying this heavenly experience while it lasts...

Well those donations buy more than just fancy strippers and a good night.

Well, I hope it isn't just a placebo effect. I just discovered* a very major source of lag and wrote a work-around** for it. The new algorithm is untested, however, so it may cause problems. Please report oddities with long-duration effects, such as crops not growing, growing at weird intervals, &c.
* Or, to be more precise, rediscovered. I knew from the day I wrote the algorithm in question that it would cause problems in the long run, but I had forgotten about it.
** It could certainly be fixed better, but this should solve the current problems.
Well, this one's for free, actually. :)NaoWhut wrote:Well those donations buy more than

It feels amazing. I'm pretty new, so the lag is all I've ever experienced... it's like a whole new game to me now.loftar wrote:Well, I hope it isn't just a placebo effect. Oh my god.
I just went in my house.
And heard a piano remix of the house theme.
Please tell me that this isn't just me.
PS. The piano playing was very beautiful - who did it?
