75 base and scaling remade from that would be good. It basically is the worst sword type there is, even bronze will outclass it not even mentioning hirdsman which can be much worse quality and still have way more to offer.

did you take the fact that it has twice as much armor penetration as the hirdsman sword into account?

Yes, if I had same quality swords the difference would be negligible. One can just brute force through armor without penetration. The other ... does a bit more damage if your base stats can't help you brute force through armor at all.
