I wouldn't mind this. I have plans for a specific post similar to this when they finally implement Wolves and Dogs (with which I assume they'll be making a system of some sort to direct the dogs on who/what to attack). Im pretty sure that Jorb and such will be waiting to polish that up before they do anything similar like this then.

i chould picture it like this (just when i see ideas i like, i want to think about it ignore if crazy)

i got eagle with bag on head in inventory taking up alot of space cause thats how thay transport them

then i equip to hand and click atk on target,it atks i run into assist, if atk the target right when swooping eagle does an atk small chance to dam eagle

lynx would be easier to hunt, as eagle atks whould slow them mabye

with better eagle mabye chould acually hunt moose on foot (cause the eagle slows mooses escape mabye)

or i chould also see it as i realease eagle it flys around me atking only what i atk returning to me when i click a button and when hungrey and tired eagle will take small swipes at owner doing small dam lol

for hunting id prefer a falcon.

could provide vision, and quickly check your walls, trespassing still a crime tho
