Yes they are different but that was never my point to begin with, my point was that to say biology has no effect on culture or that culture has no effect on biology is foolish. Culture can easily put constraints on a population's biological evolution which is why you might hear some people say "we are going backwards" in that regard.sMartins wrote:Again, biology and culture are two different things ... those are important topics and you need a lot of knowledge to talk properly about those, otherwise easy and dumb connections come out.

Re: sweden is a terrible country
Indeed cultural evolution is what is driving the human kind right now beside with casual mutations that always occours on their own.
But this doesn't mean that natural selection (that is completly a biological phenomenon) has anything to do with human organization .... this, beside with creationism, where the man stands in the middle of the world, are just retarded bullshits or like Greeks said "Hybris" ... we are just creatures and nature it's our immutable background that no men nor gods made, nature is way stronger than us and thinking that humans behaviours are the same, if not better, than nature laws is dumb as fuck.

I like this discussion better
Free speech is under attack in Canada (look up Jordan Peterson, Bill c-16 or Lindsay Shepherd) as well as the rest of North America and so these issues are very personal to me.

Not enough obviously. Open your mind.Kaios wrote:I like to hear all sides in a discussion but you could at least try to back-up any of what you said with facts and evidence instead of a mildly relative video about the social system of ants. Ants are ants, humans aren’t ants. I know much of what I believe is hard to hear for some people but I assure you it’s all based on reasonable evidence.

You are correct. People are not ants. People do not regurgitate food for their neighbors in suburbia.

Well I don't know what your links have to do with what it seemed like you were implying with the video which was that somehow in their laziness, some people magically contribute more than the people who worked hard for their entire life. I could certainly use myself as an example, I've contributed very little of merit to the world overall but I also haven't worked particularly hard.
And there is really nothing that proves just giving people what they want will make them happy, quite the opposite usually.

I guess when you come from a continent which condoned slavery for so long you are taught to be incapable of compassion and to repeat the mistakes of your forefathers.
Without our sense of compassion we are less than beasts.
Game over man.

To be honest I don't really understand your point at all.
I have never been a slave owner, do you know any slave owners? I certainly don't nor do I condone it, slavery is bad. Oh well typical leftist rebuttal though.

If you gave up on modifying your world view don't. It's hard but you can become a better person.
