Picked up a bow from a vase and now I can't play.

this was caused by the action of picking up a bow from a vase where I store the tools I can't carry around with me. I need help fixing this thought it might be a java error so I updated the JRE. Then I reinstalled Amber, however the problem still exists. I don't want to restart after what I've accomplished so far. I'm hoping someone can help and describe what causes this error so I won't run into it again.

P.S. I also tried running other clients to see if this was only a problem with amber but the other clients won't even load into the world at this point. So I would like to get this fixed ASAP.

I have the game doesn't even load beyond the Character selection menu.

Edit: the game now loads and was able to put the bow in my inventory to keep the game from crashing. After trying a client (ender) I could load up the game but the crash occurred once I interacted with the bow. I then used the Official client to put the bow in a cupboard which I plan to destroy to get rid of the bow. I still don't know what made this bow cause this error.

Read forums. There's nothing wrong with the bow. Update happened. Amber haven't been updated yet, romovs isn't on a salary or something. That's what causing crash. My gosh. Just wait for the updater or play on a native client.

yeah figured. I've been playing on the default since it doesn't crash (obviously) and other players were telling me it was because of the update. This is the first time I've seen this game update since I've been playing so please forgive my reaction. I'll keep the topic up in case someone else doesn't realize it's because of the update.

Not a bug (as it's a custom client issue), see here:

I was sure I had tested previously and verified that Java was alright with missing interface classes, but apparently I must remember that wrong. Oh well, custom clients need to be updated, then.

Moving equipment between belts/inventory/containers with shift-clicking seems to work but if you take it on cursor, you'll crash, crash when trying to log in and have to use default client to place the equipment somewhere (it stays on cursor when you crash.)

Sucks atm, I'm doing a credo and keep having to give stuff to quest givers and plant stupid towercaps, which ofc causes the crash as you can't shift-click, so constantly having to switch between clients ... makes you realise just how much of a god romovs is ...
