Right, you need permissions (be a member of the village, unsure of specific permissions as a member) to extend personal claims this way when it is a part of a village claim, or rather I should say covered by a village claim.

About the fence gate thing, generally people just want to be extra safe and not have strangers roam around their villages while still allowing them to go in and out without keys.

I can understand that, but if you have all white permissions toggled off, then visitor buff should prevent people from walking through an open gate? Or is the visitor buff not applied promptly enoughvatas wrote:About the fence gate thing, generally people just want to be extra safe and not have strangers roam around their villages while still allowing them to go in and out without keys.

not on villages, people can freely walk on village land, the inner gate allows you to not have to carry a key, as once they enter and gain visitor they cant open the gate, so you can effectively stop people from coming in, but come and go as you please without having to hearth back insideLillejohn wrote:I can understand that, but if you have all white permissions toggled off, then visitor buff should prevent people from walking through an open gate? That's my understanding. Only village members can manage their personal claims.Ants wrote:So I have to be a member of the village? Any way to name cupboards or preview their interiors?

This, uh, exists. You could try to use it, but it blocks movement and is pretty shitty. No real way to label cupboards.
