It takes aroud 24+ hours in RL time :P Sadly. And yes, use an Herbalist Table. :D

I'd posit it's something like 36 (possibly 32 or 40)* hours. I put mine out somewhere around this time yesterday and they're somewhere between half and two-thirds finished.

*(That'd be 4 and 5 in-game days respectively.)
