God damn dude learn to spell, it is not that hard to type words out correctly.
And digging 15 clay means we will have to wait several days for it to be up to that quality again, so it is hardly a "1 min job". While gold on the other side is a theoretically infinite resource. Mining is not hard and if you can only fill 10 smelters in a day you are doing something wrong (that should not take more than an hour if that)

Re: Bottleneck invades Xanadu
Not to mention the whole extra-industry necessary, you must have a steady supply of charcoal= many logs= HQ carpenter at hand to keep making choal.
You also lose stam very fast=time spent sitting on a chair and/or drinking, water, this triggers a drastic lowering in hunger= you need food supply.
Whilst clay requires nothing but inventory space, you have 100% success rate, the clay you dig, will work, you only need to do it once. It take less then a minute to achieve, true the Q goes down, but this can be restored very fast.
All in all the energy invested in mining is hundreds of time more then in clay.
ALSO, it was stupid to kill our lawspeaker, did you just REALLY expect this to blow over?
I don't see how you are capapble of defending your actions in any way. From my point of view, the leaders of Bottleneck have given you several opportunities and given you many chances. But damn, you just had to kill the lawspeaker didn't you.

First of all, Quality does not matter for gold so anyone can make the charchoal. Secondary anyone that actually does mining will have a supply of tea available which takes absolutely no effort at all to make and reduces your downtime by 100%, and does not require any food. And i would hardly say that clay can be restored very fast, have you even looked at the quality system for things such as soil, water, clay latelyWolfang wrote:Not to mention the whole extra-industry necessary, you must have a steady supply of charcoal= many logs= HQ carpenter at hand to keep making choal.

Re: Bottleneck invades Xanadu
reminder: your people originally offered to sell us 2 nuggets of gold for 2 barrels of water and 10 clay. that's 1 barrel of water and 5 clay per gold nugget. so when we said we wanted a bar for 2 barrels of water and 55 clay (20L of water and 5.5 clay per nugget), the guy says, and this is a direct quote from the PM, "No way. thats like 6 clay per gold nugget! Ur not going to get anywhere with those kinds of prices..."

But you're telling me it takes more effort to dig clay, and oh lord
and oh-so rare that at the time it was still needed in bottleneck itself =S
Anyway, the death of the lawspeaker was avenged. I don't see why you are still complaining about a trade disagreement of the past.

And so i understand.sabinati wrote:reminder: your people originally offered to sell us 2 nuggets of gold for 2 barrels of water and 10 clay. that's 1 barrel of water and 5 clay per gold nugget. so when we said we wanted a bar for 2 barrels of water and 55 clay (20L of water and 5.5 clay per nugget), the guy says, and this is a direct quote from the PM, "No way. thats like 6 clay per gold nugget! The first offer made was most probably a misstake and a missunderstanding on our part, it would have been wise to taken up on that offer in that case tbh he he. But well as Wolfang says, no use in going on about old trade disagreements. I was just making it clear to your fellow villager that we had our reasons back then, why that particular gold trade never happened, since he seamed to have some grudges against it, using it as an exuse to do what he did.

Listen Everyone:
I do not give a fuck about whether trade offers were fair or unfair.
The purpose of the raid was not to get to guys.
The purpose of the raid was not "revenge". That was just a bonus.
The purpose of the raid was not "Justice".
The purpose of the raid was to show Xanadu and everyone else: Don't fuck with Bottleneck.
D4 is our territory, and anyone who commits a crime there will answer to us. When I talked with Sabinati at Xanadu he said that my point had been made. This is questionable because this conversation does not sound like one between two groups trying to achieve peace. People of Xanadu, if you don't want us to raid you again, try to sound a little contrite. I know that whining and accusing others of whining is a popular pastime of goons, but I don't give a fuck about your cows, etc. I know how much work goes into them, and that is why I killed all of yours.
You lost a bunch of people and resources when we raided. We lost nothing. We are perfectly outfitted to raid you again. I was considering declaring your entire village to be off limits to everybody, but I didn't. If there is a next time, you will lose your village.
I am done with this thread.

Let's just get this straight. The reason you got into Xanadu isn't because you're perfectly outfitted to murder us, it's because we're goons and we're so goddamn lazy we forgot to check the wall.

Re: Bottleneck invades Xanadu
What does that have to do with anything?
And what is it with goons taking the moral high road all of a sudden? It is not like you guys don't have a history regarding unjustified raiding and murder yourselves. This wasn't even unjustified, the current game mechanics do not allow any other form of retaliation if you want to make sure your own safety is secured for a solid amount of time.
So get over it and either try to settle things with BN or prepare for a war yourselves. Would finally spice world 3 with my beloved drama.
