Re: microupdate: kin names on hearthfires and skeletons
Yep. Works with kin, works with memorized folks, all offline, all displaying names. For me, at least.

I believe the grind-flour-from-seedbags and plant-grass-from-seedbags features were similarly buried?sabinati wrote:rollover a kin's hearthfire to popup your kin's name, just like rolling over their character, so i can stop asking "who put their goddamn hearthfire here?"
edit: this just got implemented, so i'm moving from c&i to announcements, as i hate when little features like this are buried. post comments etc here.

This makes skeletons a lot more meaningful.

Agree that the names should only pop-up on roll-over.
Also being able to right-click a hearthfire and memorise would be good too.
I reckon skeletons should show the name of the dead character to everyone as well. Not just to those who knew them (but those who knew them should be able to confirm it's the "Bob" they knew and not some other "Bob").

No. Makes no sense. Why'd I instinctively recognize the corpse of some guy who I've never seen before?Lothaudus wrote:I reckon skeletons should show the name of the dead character to everyone as well. Re: microupdate: kin names on hearthfires and skeletons
You should be able to memorize skeletons and describe them to others. So if you didnt know the guy while he was alive you could still tag him.
