Dude, are you braindead? Your ramblings are too far gone to be explained with trolling...Trappin wrote:...
Nice video suggestion, everyone thinking the USA is a great country should watch that.azrid wrote:If anyone is curious you can listen to Kevin Shipp about how CIA works.
Nope, it's still there, though now its business has apparently changed from dodgy web hosting (that one stopped ten years ago, oops, I was telling people about it when we sailed past last year) to trying to sell me a knighthood on Facebook.MagicManICT wrote: I think the Brits overturned the guy trying to establish the "country" of Sealand.
That's domestic though (dosn't make it better by itself, but at least less worse for citizens of other countries). I'm also not that sure who's better at winning at putting the own citizens behind bars, sorting the list in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_c ... ation_rate by per capita or total the US is winning so far (though China would be 'winning' on the total in case we add the 1M people that are claimed to get educated, should they not be included - still way behind the US in per capita even in that case as of the higher total population).Miss_Min wrote:Personally I think China's currently winning at Badness: locking up somewhere in the region of a million people, who have mainly not even been convicted of anything in a kangaroo court - they have 'gone to residential colleges of their own free will', and the barbed wire and security guards are for ... actually, why is there so much barbed wire if it's not a prison? WTF? - BBC article / video / radio programme.
Technically, they did. It's a legal matter for the courts and such, and since it's outside the recognized maritime borders... it's a mess. I tried reading more about it, but property this and that and more legal crap than I want to try to interpret.Miss_Min wrote:Nope, it's still there, though now its business has apparently changed from dodgy web hosting (that one stopped ten years ago, oops, I was telling people about it when we sailed past last year) to trying to sell me a knighthood on Facebook.
Yeeaaah the whole US prison-industrial complex is kind of horrific. But if someone reduced the number of prisoners in Texas (approx 140 000), who currently might be working up to 12 hours a day without getting paid(1), there presumably might be some work available for other people. Of course, the businesses would then have to pay their employees...MagicManICT wrote: But... JOBS!!! What about the JOBS!?!?!?
