Just smacked around looking for more of this ochre node and my mine support seems to have been hit really good by one of these cave-ins. Went from not-even-unreasonably-broken not-even-displaying-damage to "I'm knocked on my ass" and my "WHAT THE FUCK?" could be heard from the heavens. My entire village on discord thought I got murdered.

This system sucks, i get what you wanted, a way to slow down mining and getting metal. All youve done is add tedium, as pros we can avoid getting ko'd 99% of the time but all you doing is slowing us down so we get bored of mining. For me mining was a way of exploring the underground, finding gems and mining stone for paving. And FYI minesweeper is a fucking boring ass game solitaire was the one to play.

oh a an entire bar of nuggets to repair a support at 50% is just genius, is the new meta build tons of ugly supports then automine.

Next update: using a boat at all decays it because boats are really more of a safety net for swimming. Also repairing a dugout costs 1 bar of rose gold

The thing is that fun from mining comes from fighting hql ore, finding gems etc, having to play minesweeper or build 10 supports to mine 5 tiles is just boring and annoying, idk why for farming selecting a 100x100 area and going afk for 10 minutes is fine but for mining it isn't? Mining gets cucked by slimes, trolls, having to even build supports in the first place and now having to build retarded amounts of them and not even being able to repair them easily.

I built another support to help cover the area im mining as from what i read of the notes the supports block a cavein and take damage. Here though i had a support near that ore stack at 50% where im mining i hit a cavein tile.... so what happens the support explodes and caves in 10+ tiles from the unstable tile. knocked out my alt too which sucks but im fine, strangely so multiple dont work? why not destroy the other and go to that support thats near the tile? i miss old supports :(

There, there. We'll have a look at it. No need to get your knickers in a knot.

On another note, i just had 3 mine supports covering 1 tile, mined the tile, 1 mine support broke and it caused a cave in. Im guessing it's maybe because the mine support maybe covered a cave in just outside of the radius of the other mine supports but it's still really shitty that you cant control which ones take the damage in any way.

Just my opinion, but if multiple supports stop a cave in, the damage should be shared evenly between them.

Stupid mining changes that accomplish nothing other than annoying and handicapping players that don't use botfarms.

1 bar to build a basic support
2 bars if you want to mine in a straight line
5 bars if you want to mine out the full area of the support

You want a dumb little minesweeper mechanic? Alright whatever but you do know how your own world generation works right? Ore appears wherever it appears. You can "just don't" if you want to play the game.

This won't fix the spiraling problem. It doesn't raise the barrier to entry. It only accomplishes annoying your core player base.

You want to fix something go balance quests there are people with millions of LP already less than a week in.
You guys should actually play your own game sometime.

I wonder if the current mechanics was the meaning behind "Got you covered" here viewtopic.php?f=48&t=62878#p797886 ...
