I have a very simple question. There is a guild named Blacksmith's bauble that require slag and cat gold to be crafted on anvil with smith's hammer using metal working skill. I took slag from ore smelter. I mined cat gold. I got deep artifice, which is much further than metal working. Crafted smith's hammer by myself. But i don't have recipe of this guild. Why?

Slag was previously given by a finery forge, when you didn't receive bloom (raw wrought iron) you would get slag (a low grade iron ore), and gneiss used to be the waste product of smelters. Now that slag has replaced gneiss as smelter refuse, and according to jorb some new ore has replaced slag as the waste product of a finery forge, I assume a blacksmith's bauble requires that new ore from a finery forge, rather than slag from a smelter.

In other words, build a finery forge and melt cast iron bars in it. Unless you get extremely lucky and get 9 bloom, you should get some of that new ore and be able to craft baubles. That being said I haven't done much metalworking yet this world (got tarkilns going later than I should have), so I don't really know if this is the issue for sure.

Do certain areas in the game have base quality set higher?? Like sometimes I find taproots of quality 25, I go to another place and every single one of them is 10.

Good question. Potentially. I'm still waiting for one to break myself. Jorb didn't explain exactly how decay is 1/10th in caves. It could be 1/10th the damage when it hits, it could be only 1/10th as likely to hit, but be full strength. Either way, cupboards don't have many HP, and a decay hit could still be enough to break them. If you want to risk it, make sure to repair them after moving one to another location.

It's 1 hit decay. Happened earlier today to me.

Anyone have any information on how long Something Broken's take to heal naturally? A run-in with a badger went afoul and left me with a pretty fuckin gnarly Something Broken. it's functionally impossible for me to get a camomile compress for at least 2 weeks, so i'm hoping it goes away by then, but so far it's looking bleak

Question of my own on cavebulbs. I'm well past the score needed to find them. Anyone know which of the cave biomes they're spawning in? I've been looking through both.
