Difficulty is entertainment. Easy tasks quickly lose interest. It was necessary to think where to dig, identify and bypass dangerous areas. And now for miners again can be run the second window.
It was logical to reduce the damage to the support, because it should increase with each level of the mine. Thus, at level 5, the column will receive the same damage at 50%. But the repair has become too cheap.

Re: Mine Support Changes are Awful.
Having been a long playing member and being able to call this my favorite game, playing and having a lot of fun with a lot of people over the years and even supporting the Salem break-out before returning to the land i love, haven - This has taken the majority of the enjoyment out of the game for me as it was what I enjoyed doing.
You see i play hermit as a lot of the guys i used to play with are married, have kids etc. I do too and as i play daily but casually at this time, i don't have time or patience for mechanics like this that essentially look, feel and resource wise take up time that used to be better spent doing other things.
I played Haven for the fun and i liked the difficulty, but this is a poor change in my humble opinion and therefore I'm going to look elsewhere to spend my game time.
Sad and disappointing, see ya guys and all the best.
To Jorb and Loftar - this is only my opinion guys and i understand the direction. Love what you done with this game, just for me it doesn't fit any more. <3

You realize that the repair cost of supports has been reduced to practically nothing since the OP of this topic?Qronos wrote:I played Haven for the fun and i liked the difficulty, but this is a poor change in my humble opinion
4 nuggets of any metal repair a support fully, one smelter of tin should keep you going for a really long while....

tbh at this point its not about the material cost but instead the tedium of mining for a few seconds, then needing to repair, on more cave-in dense nodes.

If you want to go mining you have to fill your inventory with nuggets. Sucks dick tbh. Hard to do long, uninterrupted, mining sessions this world. Also fuck slimes. If they touch a stockpile it’ll get fucked. Also fuck tiles giving stupid wide variance in quality. Nothing like spending a frustrating amount of time sorting each individual stone by quality. They really enjoy creating tedium for absolutely no reason. I can mine and sort for an entire day and almost feel like I haven’t accomplished anything.
