What stats/skills affect glassmaking quality?
Just as the title says, what stats/incrementable skills affect glass making?

I think it mainly depends on the Q of your sand and the Q quality of the kiln you cook the glass inSeriyu wrote:Just as the title says, what stats/incrementable skills affect glass making?
Both Sand & Clay Q Depend on where you're located.

sand q --> kiln q and fuel q --> raw glass q --> your dex --> bottle or glass q (not that it matters)
for spectacles it's raw glass q and metal nugget q and smithing iirc

Actually, now that we're at it, I have another question, namely, is survival the only thing that affects hide quality? Because my survival is at 18 and rabbit hides are still quality ten. Does it just scale up that slow or am I missin somethin?

Rabbit hides are capped at q10. Can't go any higher than that.
The quality of the tool used to skin the animal is also taken into account.

ahhh, I see. So I'd need to boost my stone axe quality to get higher qualities, and also get around to being able to kill things that aren't rabbits.
Okay, that should be all. Thanks again.

That or some other sharp tool. It might be more worthwhile in the long run to get a decent quality bronze sword and use that. Good quality stone axes require high quality smelters, or high quality "soil" spots in mountains, and high quality trees. Whereas a sword can be made with just the former. Of course it's also more expensive.

I see. I'll have to look into getting one made at some point.
