There's jorb's explanation of the what extra "rummaging" covers. A few things did get moved, some from trespassing, others from what would have been potentially theft or vandalism.

Ants are easiest. Beavers hardest. That's as I understand it.Lojka wrote:At what time can we try to enter dungeons ? and what of them are most easy ?

As far as dying, yes, it's a very real possibility. you cannot hearth out of dungeons. the only way out is to finish or out the front door.

I'm a massive noob and built most of my houses on unpaved terrain (grass). Is there any way to see the decay % on vanilla client?

Not any more so than any of the custom clients. The server only reports in 25% increments. On the standard client, buildings that have taken damage just start turning redder.Prowny wrote:I'm a massive noob and built most of my houses on unpaved terrain (grass). Buildings, for the most part, don't care if you pave under them unless the terrain requires you to. At that point, I'm not sure if the loss of decaying tiles will accellerate a building's decay or not, as it implies no active claim. As long as you have a claim, nearly all buildings will be safe from decay. (There are exceptions that will decay any time outdoors.)

It's all claimed. I think I recall from previous worlds that grass would be pretty much the same as paved ground, but I guess I'm wrong.MagicManICT wrote:Not any more so than any of the custom clients. Far as I recall, grass and paved ground have behaved identically for building/decay purposes since Hafen was introduced. I don't know offhand of any building that needs paving specifically but wouldn't be surprised at one existing.Prowny wrote:It's all claimed. Question: Horses and satiety. Despite always parking my horses near food, both my used ones have starvation damage. What limitations/precautions do I need to take to prevent actively ridden horses from building this up?

Question : Does the quality of my pickaxe affect the quality of the stones / ores that i mine (softcapping it, maybe)? Should i strive to upgrade my pickaxe relentlessly to get better ores?

Yes, same as a normal axe does - but the pickaxe caps at twice its quality.kirion wrote:Question : Does the quality of my pickaxe affect the quality of the stones / ores that i mine (softcapping it, maybe)? Should i strive to upgrade my pickaxe relentlessly to get better ores?
