Should parchment and ink be required to post a message? It might make posting messages less trivial if resources are needed to do it.

step two. fill it with blank parchment


of course if you really wanted this for whatever reason (wooden signs are eyecatching, esp if you replace the build signs with something else) the simplest (and therefore best) way of adding a bulletin board would be a new container that only held parchment.

So i was just thinking of this as i was logging on and a new villager got on. I wish there was a way for me and me alone (LS) or even myself and the Chief to be able to Post things on like a Message board or something. Ya know Chalk isnt that new of an invention that way when I am not on i can still get the word out on what is happening or Rule changes.

and its not that im being bossy.

Ill give the example. There was a problem yesterday in the village with theft. now, we have a wall up so most likely it was internal. Well it got put out there in village chat. and i would like internal problems weather they be between villager to villager or theft or whatever to be addressed to me personally. Other wise it would hinder me to be able to ask people what is giong on ya know kinda secretly without them being guarded.

so it would be nice to be able to post that instead of repeating my self all the time.

But not everyone check email and it would be eaiser if it were ingame. thats the whole point is communication ingame.

Hi guys, i want to have message board (to hire hunters, workers or something like this) and i want to have postbox (instead basket and runestone in dront of my door).

Message board.
Container. Only parchment can be put in.
container size 3x4. Size to place 1x1.
Requires: 2 boards, 2 blocks, 0.1 ink (to subscribe nice title) and carpentry skill to build.
Can be opened, can be named/subscribed once (like runestone), can be destroyed, can`t be lifted. Must be placed on paved or plowed tile.
Shows parchments on it (like winerack do it with bottles).

If you like it, i will make image for post-box.

Also this game need non-movable biiiig container (for donation or just as good storage). I mean something like coffin in wurm.

Mailbox
Requires: 2 blocks, 1 board, 1 any common metal nugget, 2 birchbarks, 1 bloodstern (red paint 4 flag) and Carpentry skill.
Name of owner can be scrached once. Can be opened only by creator or breaked with thievery skill to view posts. Without thievery skill posts will be destroyed with mailbox.

R-click with parchment on mailbox to drop mail in. R-click without it to read name
