Can I force a larger font size? I have tried to use the slider in game, where it requires restart, however after restart there is no change. I play on a 4k 55inch monitor, not sure if that affects anything.

What the eff man, your client suddenly lost all my map markers - resources, custom marks, questgivers, the whole shebang?! TWICE in one day, each time after a routine "I'll just drop to desktop" thing your client does on a regular basis for no apparent reason? This is some huge pile of bullshit. I'm disappointed, compared to others this one was always the "ol' reliable" for me.

This definitely sounds like something on your side, map markers and tiles are stored in %appdata%\roaming\Haven and hearth\data\ and the client doesn't really ever nuke that location. If the game is randomly closing with no error, check your folder for a JVM crash log, it'll be a text file.

Hasta ... did your Java update?
for me it kicked all the registry haven pref stuff (got a reg backup so no prob ...)

btw. my cache on W7_64 is at
C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Haven and Hearth\data

I saw someone post about having auto-hearth toggled off and still loggin out on being knocked out... how do i fix this im having the same issue

Options -> Control Settings ->Uncheck "Use French (AZERTY) keyboard Layout" (?)

AFAIK the only point where Amber might change keyboard layout
