When being forced to travel for hours on a daily basis... you should think about relocating to a place nearer to the shoo-ball field you like to visit.

It's really shitty argument. I can't spread myself all over world unless I play with so many alts...

Please make an argument on why you should be able to spread yourself across all over the map.

Moving closer to the market? Yeah, there's no space and I don't want people to consider me as a raider trying to find a hole to plunge into.

According to the argument made (all the people quitting) there should be plenty of space to settle near the market, no?

People quit, because, who could guess... fasttravel was nerfed so hard people interact less with each other.

People quit for plenty of reasons, the argument (as it's done in this topic) of fast travel not being 'free' enough as the cause is just silly.

1. Imagine everybody who want to enjoy market to move closer to it. Either not enough space or they would have to make a village. No to say ignoring the fact You literally tell people to abandon whatever they did to move just to one of many spots that they have to travel to.

2. They always quit for plenty of reasons. I didn't say it is main reason. I just said that when before it was a choice to collect everything along the road or just jump and interact with people, now You are forced to daily sail for hours if You want to met people. Literally Ard client let You queue movement and You ignore the rest until a whale or player comes into vision box. THAT IS SHIT. W10 I was interacting a lot with people, now, according to your statement I would have to live A) near market B) near friends C) near my own base where everything is going on D) do You think I can just lift my kilns, forges and building everything from scratch is just few minutes? E) Even getting into fights takes so long that anybody from my village wanted to participate, was discouraged as it would again, take them hour to get into battlefield and they didn't want to waste their time on that.

3. I never said this is the only reason people quit and You're really should know that.

You can imagine that i'm not in for CRs because i want to be able to fast travel to raid and pvp

But it's something i miss the most being able to easily port stuff between places of chars ... and i am walking and boating around a lot just for sightseeing this beautiful world (without a Knarr) ... but sometimes it's justa hassle having to walk or boat for half an hour just to transport some stuff from one place to the other ... since w4 i'm used to have different smaller places for chars instead of one huge village ... this world i even play as travelling worker with some ... and with that bad spreading of vortexes this world it's no fun having a hf in the place you work at and need 1 1/2 to 2 hours to go just to fill your study desk ... (which sux especially when you have a RL job and play for recreation)

CRs could be restricted to continent only travel or just a certain distance to avoid misuse ... and Charterstone and Sublime Portico is not a solution for me as i wouldn't want every small place needing to be a village ... or even convince those i work for to build one ... besides it's not that easy to get the needed Rock Crystals (and Charterstone is much tooo large anyways ...)

I'm all for them working as they once did on each continent only, that's the only change the need was. No going over Ocean. The issue was questing.

IDK its kind of fucking obv the majority of the player base want crs to be back to normal but a few people THAT BARELY FUCKING PLAY love walking 30 mins to somewhere and log off for the day. fucking people broke my crs everyday back in w10 and i had to repair that shit everytime now why tf would i waste my time on repairing when the only places i can teleport to are like 2 minimaps shits ridiculous.

"being able to teleport everywhere instantly!!" sounds bad, I agree, but it is good for the game, it's just a game after all, people want to enjoy it, people want to meet their friends, neighboors, they want to interact with each others - right now it's impossible, noone even bothers building roads, markets have no customers, you guys need to fucking stop thinking about the REALISM and start thinking about whats good for the game and players.

Pretty sure they said they don't like removing content. No matter your opinion on travel it most likely wont happen.
The direction the game will go in the future will have no effect on OP regardless.

I'm not sure why would you bring that up? Davis was playing this game since forever and he was playing on the "competetive level", if he doesn't play right now but he claims he loves the game then maybe something in fact is not working here? I also quit not because I don't like the game anymore, lack of fast travel is one of the reasons.

This poll is meaningless.

Most people who play the game do not get to vote.
Crossroads will result in lower playercount because killing and raiding people will be so much easier. And they will quit when this happens.

HnH has had much more players after crossroads were removed!

I still would like to get them back.

I agree with Granger on basically every single point. In games like EVE trade is literally done by people who travel all day for profit, and I would like to see that kind of thing in haven.

Despite this, I think the road signs should be returned to their former glory. Building roads in world 10 was fun. It took "a lot" of effort, but ultimately had a large payoff when completed.

1. It was fun.
2. People spent a lot of time in game doing it. What should they do instead?
3. Shrinks the map, brings people together. I literally met King Bunzy, very cool
4. Makes it easy for Hermits to trade while staying safe and unknown. If I have to move to market, I am a target
