I think a notice board should be added for villages, so everyone could add news on it.

Bulletin Board
With us being able to scrawl on parchment, why not make a bulletin board. Itwould be 1x1 and you can place your scrawled parchment on it so that it somewhat acts like a runestone where you can replace the message using a new parchment.
