Aah, when I've just finished gardener level 4 and planted 3 bluebells the creedo gets nerfed to oblivion. As a casual hermit I enjoyed planting my flowers, high-q bluebells were a great addon since I cannot hope to fight trolls or raid dungeons.
A sad day for casual hermit. I know I should abandon the creedo and throw away the weeks I've spent on it so that I can at least reach the next creedo easier, but I wont.
I'll pray this gets reversed or remade in some way.

This is actually a good idea, but maybe 2 or 3 times, maybe different times for different forageables.

-1000 for bad update. You have pretty much destroyed any reason to bother with a gardening credo. Not much incentive to find time to play this game anymore. Which is really sad because I love this game. This is the first time in two years I haven't subbed. NOt going to waste money on something you are making unpleasant to play.

Well this is indeed a motive to give up playing. I give up lobbying to people that the game is ok and people over react.
On the plus side the credo should be alot easier to predict now you cant harvest anything really without the credo. I am curious though, what are the odds the credo quest will still ask you to harvest 20 blueberries.

I for one am pleased by the changes to blueberries. It gives newblets something extra to trade.
But I do have to ask, were domestic/wild variations of blueberries ever considered? We have it with honey so why not with other foragables?

This is actually one of the best advices given, but have a problem: you can never raise the ql of the products as one hopes to do. There's a way instead, wich may be this: give only ONE replantable item for each potted plant, means you can still raise average ql, but NEVER get a 400 pot 300ql bluebell farm, and make the gardeners actually wtb those forageables for expanding their farms; another way is to make the gardeners have to plant forageables to obtain a totally different item (bluebell petals? dry flowers to get better ql too?), by adding work, and time, into the chain, this way the foragers will sell those items and gardeners will buy them to have better items too.

WHAT? Are you making fun of us or what? The gardener's credo is done only to grow what you need for cooking or for studying! But here, I am such an advanced gardener .... and I go to the forest to find berries, herbs, flowers, because I am a stupid gardener, or what? Why the hell then do you need a gardener's credo?
The meaning of these updates? You are offered thousands of great ideas, but you are doing outright nonsense that people do not like. If you were so offended by the presence of chanterelles and blueberries, in this game, that for this it was necessary to do a whole update, then it was necessary to remove them completely)
The fact of the siege with a ton of glue and the inability to destroy the siege weapons, what is it? Trying to incite everyone against each other, in a fit of rage at breaking garden pots? Breaking settlements, rob caravans and run with shovels for people.
And yet, what is this for egocentric attacks from Jorb, who is told in his face that this is bad, for a number of reasons, and not because of someone who owes something to him, but he says: NO! This is great, this is super, this is innovation! You are stupid and do not understand anything!
This is a bad approach from the developers to the game, which for many of us, the players, became the second home to which we had warm feelings. You can not do it this way

Re: Game Development: Stalking Garden
What about a % thing, like bloom? Based on your farming skills, probably gardener credo as well, %chance to get a replantable seed item when harvesting a garden pot. Seems better to me than a hard number.Justforthis wrote:+1delsus wrote:Maybe make it so that forageables can be planted only once. Harvested forageables can't be replanted

Also give gardener credo something like "Chance to replant when harvesting garden pots.", giving you the products and leaving the plant as though you had just planted it. The lady's mantle thing is a literal joke/insult.
Edit: Like, I'm honestly usually in Jorbtar's corner, but the lady's mantle thing is really wack. It's like if you made Thorny Thistles plantable as a credo bonus. Laughable.

i stopped 3 months ago. state of the game and updates pretty much forced me to quit this game. I just can't justify having a game that doubles as a full time job with no pay. Everything just takes way too long now.Morrighan wrote:-1000 for bad update. You have pretty much destroyed any reason to bother with a gardening credo. Re: Game Development: Stalking Garden
It doesn`t. It was a good noob trade material alongside with chantrelles in legacy or early in Hafen (not sure about later). But since then so much new versions of Dex/Int food were added, that noone need to bother about those. Real loss are cavebulbs and for some part (for hermits with limited industry) - bluebells. But those are not needed in forageable qualities.GamingRAM wrote:I for one am pleased by the changes to blueberries. It gives newblets something extra to trade.
