I like how the debate is what button to use to transfer massive amounts of bullshit from place to place, when it should be about the best ways to remove or reduce that amount instead.

There should be a chance of having something nasty in a leaf pile, like sharp objects or angry animals. Large stones that one could hit his toes into etc.

How do you reach the conclusion that these two discussions are mutual exclusive?czaper2 wrote:I like how the debate is what button to use to transfer massive amounts of bullshit from place to place, when it should be about the best ways to remove or reduce that amount instead.

shift + click to transfer itemloftar wrote:Namely?Witgang wrote:i would suggest to follow what Amber /ardenne's client has established as a standard for shortcut key's
Either way, the point being that Shift has come to be used in many other places to initiate "multi-actions" (such as, area-harvesting, area-sowing, pick-up-multiple-items, &c), and so it would be consistent to use it as such on item transfer/drop as well.
I agree, which is why I suggested Alt-Shift instead.Witgang wrote:the worst of the combo's tha can be made with this key's should be ctrl shift LMB
ctrl + click to drop
Is the standard.
Combine with alt to transfer or drop all identical items.

Hey Loftar, ill point few ingame buttons that are in my opinion god tier, I loved them in Ards clientloftar wrote:Namely?Witgang wrote:i would suggest to follow what Amber /ardenne's client has established as a standard for shortcut key's
- button to add 9 / 12 coals at the time
- button to switch items that you hold in hands to traveler sacks
- button to switch items in hand to any weapon
- button to switch hands to sword and shield
- buttons to switch combat schools
generally most of "extra buttons were epic, they were to make life easier and you should consider evey single one of them )
from shortcuts I would like mostly:
- more camera options ( consider sky texture )
- hide gobs
My mother told me Someday I would buy
Galley with good oars Sail to distant shores
Stand up high in the prow Noble barque I steer
Steady course for the haven Hew many foe-men,
hew many foe-men

But what would one do with the sky texture when you do not even see the sky!xzo wrote: - more camera options ( consider sky texture )

Re: Game Development: Fall Time Frolicking
Nice little update!
Am loving the leaves, piles, colours and them falling everywhere, glad you have included a curiosity from them too.
Animals eating less during the winter is a relief!
Good to see you finally making some more changes to the default client.
The hat is just my type of thing too, off to the shop to buy it ...

Re: Game Development: Fall Time Frolicking
Yeah, tbh it would be good, as others have said, if you can incorporate as much of Ambers shortcut keys as you can, simply because everyone is used to them and it makes life easier for all of us and gives some encouragement to actually use the default client, if needed, rather than just not play.
