In the link you'll find our mighty Constitution both in Italian and (scrolling down) in English.
Costituzione della Repubblica Italiana/Constitution of the Italian Republic
If you look closely at the third article of our mighty Constitution, page 5 for the Italian version and page 33 for the English one, you will immediately notice that those scatterbrained translators forgot some text, it's a shame you English guys cannot enjoy such a masterpiece, so I'm going to translate it for you.
Official versions:
Art. 3.
di tutti i lavoratori all’organizzazione politica, economica
e sociale del Paese.
Art. 3
All citizens have equal social dignity and are equal
before the law, without distinction of sex, race, language,
religion, political opinion, personal and social conditions.
My translation of the missing part:
It is the task of the Republic to remove obstacles of economic and social nature,
which, by limiting the freedom and equality of citizens, prevent the full development
of the human person and effective participation
of all workers to political, economic and social organization of the country.

Re: Constitution of the Italian Republic
I respect the ideal stated by these words. However in my recent travels I have spoken with young Italians who feel that there is no future for them in Italy. That oportunities are too scarce. And that the boomers have a great deal of wealth but the younger generations are poor with little hope of achieving such a comfortable life for themselves.
It makes me wonder how effective a constitution can be if it can be ignored by any particular demographic.

P.S. It would be: Smart teens, teens are smart, that was the original idea but it turned out to be also smart-ins! And who knows what else? We all have unique eyes!
Well, if I think better at it, the very original idea was from Marty McFly! Keep running Kids!

It is not the job of any government to enforce equality.
