I always just make the one main and then an explorer alt, (who twice now has ended up making a realm, but not this world) this world I ended up abandoning my main halfway into the world, due to location and a couple of other reasons .... and ended up playing on the alt.

just a fighter and a crafter on the same acc, last world was the first one where I didnt do this and I regretted it a lot (everyone insisted on using shared village crafters)

even in a village its better to be mostly self sufficient and dying is a lot less annoying when you have a 2nd account to get your 1st one back on its feet

Main: forager, miner, traveler, pve, etc
Crafter: a fullstack base keeper with all relevant stats
Claim holder: just because claims requires too much at world starts

main: farmer, cook, sewing
miner: mining, smithing, combat
hunter: pve hunting, exploration, foraging,
Bitch: carpentry, fishing, stealth, lore, etc, ie the rest

so usually 4
sometimes i make a few sacrafices who just wander the world, or who's function is keeping pclaims up.

Depends on how industrious I get. I'm sure I'll have at least two, maybe more depending on needs and how many times I get whacked on the head with slimes and bore worms.

Main, focus on combat/adventuring but will get 80-90% of the resources, so will be able to do a lot. No rage

1 PvP alt, focus on raiding, stealing, killing all that. Will get 10-20% of resources
