So i just unlocked lvl 4 and tested it out... basically you can continue to raid ant hills as your being attacked
So why is this useless do you ask:
-Early world... like right now... having 4 ants attack you for duration of the ant hill raiding will quickly get your taking way to much damage then the ants are worth. your bat cape will be shredded after only a few raids.
-Late world... you wont care about ants anymore. and if you do like making bug boards or ant farms you can kill the ants in 2 hits anyway.
Can you change it to something more useful? honestly i thought it was going to make it so ants dont attack at all when i first read it... which would be pretty cool.

Works for bees, too. Being able to raid hives with only 1-2 bees for free is pretty sweet.

You can raid a hive with a bee attacking you by spamming defenses with enough combat weight anyway. It does sound pretty marginal to me.

raiding beehives is useless when you already have like 10 hives

Not when you have 3000 tiles of flax to cover and each hive only fully uses ~50 tiles of flax.MadNomad wrote:raiding beehives is useless when you already have like 10 hives

Being able to easily grind wax + honey + larvae (for food) ain't too bad. I'm getting quite a bit of use out of it, at least.MadNomad wrote:raiding beehives is useless when you already have like 10 hives

It's pretty useless, even with ant dungeon boost, should be changed completely or make it so raiding nests/ants/bees don't aggro you, maybe lower the chance of ranged weapons breaking? (spears/arrows/rocks)

I think lowered breaking would be closer to what people would expect in power level. Whether or not that's impactful on pvp in a bad way I don't know though.Zyean wrote:It's pretty useless, even with ant dungeon boost, should be changed completely or make it so raiding nests/ants/bees don't aggro you, maybe lower the chance of ranged weapons breaking? Alternative suggestion: Slowing animal movement speed to make archery hunting inland less horse stamina consuming? I'd think at least that armor would prevent it from being abused with mammoths more easily than other cheese mechanics for them.

It could give you immunity to being aggroed by animals.

It's not like this is the only "useless" credo buff there is. I'd rather credos were a bunch of things like this, that were nice to have but weren't required if you wanted to be competitive.
