What's the best way to remove snow in a large area (I want to pave)? Clicking dig on each tile individually can't be the best way right?

What's the new gilding that involves stoats? I have dried stoat hide but I don't see recipes involving any stoat parts.

That's directly from the menu, so those are the base values (i.e. what you get at q10).

How do I fill up a kuksa? Is it just not possible to do so from a body of water?

It is possible to remove from other kind of tile by dig the snow.

When I dig on acre clay, I get acre clay and snow doesn't remove...
EDIT: Nevermind, it's just wierd... Sometimes it's clay, sometimes snow...

Throw up a survey to cover the area in question. Notice that each square is bordered by green dots.

Click "dig" in the MIDDLE of the square to get a snow, and digging auto-stops.

Click one of the green dots to get (usually) the clay, earth, or whatever was beneath, and digging continues (Snow still covers that square).
