Metal quality dropped after crash

Last twothree times server crashed, I got my ore smelt to a lower quality metal than usually.
With q33 ore smelter and q32 coal, I get q21 metal as if ore smelter quality is reset to 10 (though it's hard to say if smelter or fuel is q10 at the time of metal quality calculation).
Looks like smelting results are calculated before ore smelter quality data is loaded after the crash.
Can this be looked at, please, to make quality data more persistent?

Try repairing your smelter, I've seen this pop up a few times and is usually the case.

i have posted this before, however with ovens. after a crash, my food quality sometimes turns out as if the quality of my branches were 0. i knew the exact quality inputs into the oven and the only value that would have resulted in the output quality was 0 for fuel.

No need of repairs, just be near it until smelting process is over. Same for ovens and kilns.
