In reality, would you cart around a bunch of gold bars in a big city like Chicago or NYC? No, because people will see you're carrying valuables, which they would likely knock you out and take your stuff. Use some common sense when transporting valuables.

You might have forgot that to use charter stone you have to at least 'visit' there once. Also they require quite high will to transport.
