Where's mai airship!..or hot air balloon.

Haaa, although probably a ridiculous suggestion. I would love to have an airship. Perhaps only able to travel short distances and require a lot of supplies & maintenence so that it doesn't decay.

Either that or to fit a more logical note, a hot air balloon. Could feed it charcoal and light it to keep it going. Coal is generally annoying to eat up so it would require mucho charcoal to stay afloat. Could make it a bit less risky then swimming but still risky in the case of completely letting it run out of charcoal all of a sudden would drive it straight to the ground and result in death or severe injury depending on how high up you are. It could work as an OK storage and perhaps be boarded by other hot air balooons in the area for fights in the sky plx. Perhaps being able to be ranged in the sky as well.

Haha. probably would require hella' coding, though. But giving the game more of a 3dimensional view is a must.

I would love to be able to climb ladders, ride in hot air balloons, do any other 3dimensionalisque activities while remaining in the same graphics. I've seen it done before.

So people can ride in a hot air balloon right into your town and you can't do no crap while they're in the balloon?
Well, it would be nice to have a hot air balloon to ride in, but I'm really scared of balloon raiders...

Do you know how hard it is to steer a hot air balloon? Seriously. They either go nowhere in particular or they go which ever way the wind is going. So if your raiders manage to actually build and fuel a totally fragile silk air balloon just outside of your pallisade and ascend with out being shot down -one puncture to the air bag and it's all over except for a crazy fast ride into the stratosphere - the chances of the wind drifting them languidly over your vault is approximately.... really, really small. Whereas the chances of the devs rolling a random landing in the random wilderness are very, very high. This could be used as a means of transporting your character to a random supergrid far better than an assault vehicle.

Also, hot air balloons have a horrible tendency to come down in trees inflicting major damage to the passengers. Fortunately the frequency of this kind of a descent is offset by the fact that coming down on the ground instead can inflict even more major damage.

And finally historically I believe if you ascend in a hot air balloon you are required to take with you one chicken, one rabbit and a goat. (Possibly the devs will allow the substitution of a sheep?)

I am all in favour of this development. It would be a gas!

Edit: I forgot to mention that the fragility of an air balloon makes them a one time use item and they require 5,000 pieces of silk cloth for the bag, 30 ropes and 300 branches for the wicker basket. And one clay pot for the fire. I also forgot to mention that both the silk bag and the basket catch fire and burn really, really easily.
