just make an example of a single commercially successful (i hope you wouldnt argue that devs want the game to be commercially successful on at least some scale) mmo that managed to get rid of bots entirely. cause to the point all your statements are purely theoretical and we dont play theories, we play games.
There is no need to get rid of bots entirely, making it harder for them will lower their impact on the game.

I think devs should go to opposite direction and add basic automation, such as farming flax in a way that seeds will be barrel'd and fibers piled, into default client.

This could even be done in immersive way, you designate your flax field and barrel areas as "Furrows" that are reliant on the claim. You shouldn't require constant clicking to grind a menial task, to my knowledge farming manually is the biggest cause of burnout in this game.

the thing is - low scale operations (the one easiest to disrupt) are not affecting the game at any significant scale. and the one that are sophisticated enough - like full scale mining-smelting operation, or full cycle silk farming, or good gatherers - will just add random patterns/acc shifting to farther harden detection. anyway it will come to manual checkouts and those cant be made common enough.

afair they were against the rules at some point in Haven Classic, they were less common, but those that were still in place gave such an advantage to major factions that dealing with their consequences was constant loftars pain.

As I mentioned before, even advanced bots are easy to detect right now and botters putting more effort into making new bots is a good thing.
Don't forget that major factions have more to lose, if using a bot or even worse, others in your faction using bots would risk your village being nuked you would think twice.
Once again we don't really need to get rid of bots entirely, we have to lower their impact, and major factions have the greatest impact, when there are 5 or 6 villages that you need to focus on, you might even do it manually.

This fundamental assertion is incorrect. Abusing exploits is confirmed to get your village nuked, and it has happened many times before. It's done nothing to stop major factions from abusing every exploit they come across. Why would the results be different for botting?

Yo what if instead of botting we just gave everyone bots.

The real problem with bots is balancing, they give a huge advantage. Bots exist because this game is very tedious and time consuming, the moreso it is, the more incentive to use bots. Most players don't actually have access to a client that can run bots and groups that have them don't share the scripts. If they do, the come across as sketchy and are a risk to run. Case and point: me, you will never get a hold of my incomplete babbys first pbot script that doesn't know how to put down a lifted object!

For starters, let us que up commands like opening oysters, picking stuff out of stockpiles etc., to nullify most basic scripts. Or say something to do a flower menu command to all of the same item in the inventory, liek you right-click a block and get "Split" and "Split All", just to begin with.

basically this but acknowledging the majority don't know how to/don't have bots.
Boofing and gumping it all damn day. Shoutout to my homeboy Moloch

Yes! Definitly! And also make it so the character does this while you log out, like you character alwasy stays logged in trying to farm for example.
So world would feel more populated, so more people to kill, and a bigger risk/reward thing for people (do I keep my guy qued on actions or do I actually log out). Combine with easier seige and BAM some meaningful PVP content right there :D
