Are you fucking kidding me? Glass keeps getting worse and worse

So a full cauldron of .50 ash made .45 lye and 1 piece of raw glass uses .20??? And it took over 3 hours of boiling IRL time???? And on top of this I also need quick silver to even get the panes afterwards, which requires alts and prospecting

What is this garbage? So I'm expected to make 10 cauldrons and then baby sit them for 1/3 of a work day if I want to make a pair of spectacles for myself and an alt?

Realism is not worth it in this case. Reduce the boil time to like 15 minutes at least because this is just cancer

I'd be fine if the boiling time was cut ~ in half. That would be 1 fill/fuel and ignore. So set it at night and get it next day for people with a job.

What's really egregious is the fucking .15 you need for the alchemy process

You can set it to boil and let it run out of water, then come back and restart it when you have time. You won't lose progress if the cauldron stops

Taking a minimum of 260 minutes to make even one pane of glass is pretty stupid though. Not to mention needing 10000x the amount of quicksilver in the drying frame than what it takes to make one pane before you can even put glass in it.
