Will the person be able to destroy their HF (as it is theirs and theirs only) after teleporting to force a random respawn, or is forever locked in place unless they have the corresponding Crime skills?

Or is it that you can't enter the claim without crime, but you could move inside and out of it?
1: Yes, they can smash their hearthfire; you don't OWN it, although you do have permissions and could smash it yourself.
2: Anyone can trespass on a claim, even without Trespassing. Trespassing skill just lets you look inside containers, enter houses, and rummage.

Hello! I've just started this game in W 13 and obviously due to the young age of the world the wiki doesn't have perfectly up to date information.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if W13 changed the threshold for seeing Wild Windsown Weed. I've been struggling with a black eyed wound so I only just recently got my exploration up to 8 and my perception (finally) up to 11 despite the black eye. According to the wiki this should let me see the weeds to collect seeds and start a farm. I've traveled pretty far, using one of the tree quests I've gotten as a direction to explore in, and while I've found plenty of nettle and berries and the like, i've yet to see anything that resembles the Weed.

Is there any advice someone could give to me?

Some forageable is still fairly uncommon with minimum stat to see it. I do not think you do anything wrong here, and I suspect values do not change, so if it is me I will either keep looking or get higher stats.

Personally I got the feeling earlier this world that some of the foreageable PER*EXP requirements may have been boosted just a slight bit. You may want to raise your PER*EXP just to make sure. If you've managed to dry squirrel tails and catch hedgehogs, don't forget to make the Forager's Brooch gilding which raises both (and of course apply it to a gildable equipment).

I can't say if the requirements were boosted or if it was just a super rare to find thing even if it was *possible* right at PER*EXP = 88 but I've found and caught some hedgehogs like you suggested and crafted a few brooches. I found -one- weed before I did this but even after crafting brooches I only found one weed. I'm hoping my now PER*EXP = 130 stats should make it reasonable to get enough to at least start planting some kind of crop. I'm playing mostly alone due to a lack of people I know irl who would want to play so I'd like to be able to not sprint around the woods for half a day to feed myself enough for any reasonable hard labor.

the minimum perception needed to see the weeds doesn't seem to have changed much, if any. They certainly seem rarer than in the past.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

I'm way past the PER*EXP required to see them all, and I see them everywhere. I don't think it's an issue of rarity.
