Requirements: A bronze sword or spear *spear preferred*, quick barrage or full circle (but preferably both), opportunity knocks *ideally you would have this but it's not required for smaller creatures without armor class or rage mode)

If an animal can't path to you and it has no ranged attack or no line of sight, it should run away. Wouldn't solve the problem completely in the case of something being blocked in somehow but would definitely make it more difficult to cheese things. You could also likely still utilize a boat if this occurred, since it could perhaps work in a way that moving back to a spot it can reach would have it return if the animal is still aggrod and not fleeing because of damage.Leksar wrote:Since the first days of the game. Re: Spear Hunting for Dummies
I know, I usually bring a bronze sword out with me in my inventory for cleaves when the bear rage modes. I don't have a ton of metal going at my hermitage though so I stored it for the streamMightySheep wrote:cleave doesnt work with spear btw

The blue dots in the top left appear to match up with inventory space currently used and the total inventory capacity. I guess the bottom right dots are indicative of the equipment slots.
