Every sip of water restores 10% stamina at the base cost of 20 energy (with q10 water.) If you're at, for example, 95% stamina and sip, do you waste Energy, just water, or both?

Both. I've tried fussing over it, but it's just not worth the effort. If I'm going a distance to get water for crafting with, I'm not using it to drink, just whatever I can get out of my local spot. And energy is so easy to come by after the first couple of hours of play time. The drawback is high energy expenditure characters where you have to eat mass quantities to do your work.

Is there a reason to keep wild and domestic bee honey separate?

Foods made with them give slightly different FEPs. (The same is true for e.g. wheat/barley/millet flour and similar equivalent ingredients.)

You can boil them in a cauldron.

To elaborate, you place them in cauldron's inventory, like you can do with Eggs and Ashes.

Played a long time ago.. trying to get back in. Some things are less intuitive. Here's a couple of issues I've been having:

1. I created a campfire, put two logs (blocks) in it, tried to light it and couldn't. Sticks don't seem to go in... not sure what I'm ding wrong, but I'd love to start some spit roasting.

2. Made a fishing rod. Pit hook, string and bait in it, fished.
String broke, put new hook and bait in but the spindly taproot I used before just won't go in the fishing rod. I'm not sure what I'm doing differently.

1) Did you put the blocks "inside" the campfire, or did you right click them onto the campfire? You need to do the latter for it to count as fuel.

2) They changed fishing today, you need to craft fishing line now. You can do so in the same menu you used to make your hook, you should be able to make at least one.
