I make a spreadsheet of many aspect of the game: cheese, sausage, animal flesh, even farm layout.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

Still trying to find the perfect farm layout...

We do have spreadsheets for most foods though.

I've never bothered to build a claim, through three worlds. I leave my farms unlocked, on the grounds that nothing I ever get is rare so it's more fun to concentrate on being an awesome farmer than worrying about someone making off with my q11 carrot harvest. (Yes, I am by no means elite) :D

Hmmm... maybe that's not really a perk.
