Well, if the intent was to harass me out of playing, it worked. I had nothing of real value, so this raider
wasn't looting, just straight up harassing. He was surgical in what he would take - only items he knew I needed to survive.
I moved and he tracked me down. I felt like the mole in "whack a mole."
He finally killed me (and said "sorry" over my dead body.) First time murdered in several years (I'm a careful hermit)
I understand that all this is "intended behavior." So here's my intended behavior - I quit.
At least until I can calm these old lady nerves

omg! I didn't expect anyone to read this, much less an outpouring of love! Thanks guys

As you can see, it took me all of a day to get back in the game. I'm such an addict
Thanks for the offers of support, but I think I'll just wander around as a naked noob for a bit, get my bearings back.
I seemed to have spawned in a sparsely populated area, which suits me fine for now. I'm a happy hermit, and I play this game to relax,
and I find all the menial early stuff the most relaxing. Go figure.

I hold no animosity toward the player who killed my character. I am curious about his motive, though.
He was so determined and surgical in this quest, taking little of value, destroying only what I needed to recover.
When he finally killed me, he simply said "Sorry" and took my body and left. It actually felt like he was sorry
that he "had" to kill me. What's up with that?
