Could have already been reported/confirmed not to be a bug, but an unfired toy chariot's quality is NOT affected by a potters wheel. This is a weird consistency issue considering stuff like garden pots/clay jars/etc are affected by potters wheel quality.
Used q10 acre clay on my q87 potters wheel and the toy chariots came out as q10.

+1, not that it will matter anyway.

Re: Toy chariots
Potter's wheels are for making pots, you don't craft chariot shapes on a wheel

Re: Toy chariots
They don't require a potter's wheel to make, so wouldn't get any quality influence from it. https://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Unfired_Toy_Chariot
The completed, kiln-fired toy chariot should pick up quality from the kiln and fuel.

This... makes far more sense and just nails home the message that I really should be getting more sleep
