Attacking players without Rage for free

So, after this "micro update" with icons update i can attack my friend for free without Rage (both of us don't have it) without leave a scent or 1 dmg character i don't know if is something new becaus i'm returning player can someone confirm? Because if it is a bug that is good for gankers :cry:
