I'm doing the potter credo on my alt atm and and need to study 2x hand impression. The tooltip (tested with default client) says I have to study it for 8 ingame hours but I have to study the crafted version for 4.5 ingame days.
And I'm tilted now.

The one you craft from clay and water is "unfired hand impression."

They are two different things. If you study the unfired one and the credo quest requires hand impression you wont get credit. Happened to me a bunch.
