If you need people to convince you not to start playing again, with that registration date, by all means, not only should you start playing again, but also buy a 1-year-gold sub, 4 hats, 10 tokens (for trading), 150 sketches (to make wall paintings), but also register and verify+sub a second account.
The devs deserve all of the money for the good work they're doing, and you should know how dedicated they currently are and how much they even play/know their own game, and how much they listen to the community, while not being 250% disconnected from the playerbase.
You shouldn't even think of not playing, embrace it.
