Wrought Iron?

I can't figure out how to get past cast iron. I've been spending a lot of time trying to make more metal objects, but just realized that I need wrought iron instead of the run of the mill cast iron bars. I have never seen any "blooms." Do you need another skill to make wrought iron just as you need another skill to make steel? If not, where can I find these "Blooms?"

It was just implemented awhile ago...

You'll need to build a Finery Forge (30 bricks and 5 cast iron).
Put your cast iron in there and light it up.
There's a 50/50 chance of getting blooms or useless slag.
Take the bloom to an anvil, then it has a 33% chance of turning into wrought iron; otherwise it turns back into cast iron.

Silly me. I should have checked for other subjects that were similar first.
