Glad that something start happening in regards of this crashes. As said above: give people normal conditions, and you will be surprised at the size of the crowd willing to help and the number of logs received.

I got a piece of shit NVIDIA GEFORCE 1050 TI and I was 1 of the few people who never crashed so I got no logs. I hope it gets fixed because if its another world of nonstop crashing I predict a lot of early quitting. Its bad enough that barely any of the clients seem to work properly.

If you use a custom client that hasn't been updated recently, does it have the code for catching and reporting the crash?

Should people use default client (unless they have recently updated private client?)

I believe it is possible that this bug is a custom client bug entirely, so we may well be chasing complete ghosts. I don't think it's ever been confirmed to happen on the default client (since "no one" uses it in combat, &c).

Play as normal I'd say. The normal distribution of clients is probably what we're looking to test.

I agree, but also want to emphasize to please ensure that your custom client authors have merged the changes which introduced the warnings. The commit in question is 8dd879dd.

And I will ask modestly in this thread, what is the game's requirements for opengl?
I have 3 computers at home. one has opengl 3.0 and the game has stopped starting. It's a pity because it has 16gb of ram :(
The second is a chromebook from opengl 4.1 and the game works but crashes for no reason.
the third macbook m1 opengl 4.1 also crashes.
On a work computer with opengl 4.2 works great :D
