Game running slowly.

Is anyone else experiencing an overall sluggishness in the games performance in the past couple days? It loads at a trickle, piecing together the world and my character a few clothes at a time, and the same phenomenon occur when I open containers, with them slowly loading the container, and then the items. There is also frequent rubber-banding while moving. Is this client side, or a result of a higher playerbase? Just last week everything was loading instantly.

I noticed this too, though it just started happening to me today. It could be a result of being in a gradually more crowded area, or a change in the streaming of game graphics.

I noticed this as well, but it also only started happening significantly today. Inventories take forever to load, and the objects visibly appear one at a time...

I had that intermittently last night, or something similar. It cleared up, and then two hours later I got a near total lock up - which turned out not to be a crash as it appeared to be.

I'm not sure if it is proximity to other people; I had it happen last night when I was out in level 6 territory. It might be the total number of people online though.

It's been happening to me and everyone else in Stillmeadow really bad the past day or two. Exactly as you describe.

I've been noticing it too... Loftar?
Is this a result of those cron jobs you mentioned?
or just the server processor or hdd I/O maxing out?
or is there a lot of unexpected bandwidth being used up?

Well the sudden server shutdown might be related. Still, it is an Alpha test; what was stable last week could be rendered unplayable by the slightest change or addition. I am confident that the developers will sort it out.
