If a gate is a visitor gate, does it matter if it's locked, or even closed at all? What happens when a player who's trespassing goes thru a visitor gate?

I have gardening, but not yet Druidic rite. Working on that. Seems a bit excessive if you need druidic rite with 150K lp to build one though. I did not think about it last world, I just had it when it was introduced as an option. Will come back and update.Audiosmurf wrote: Hmm, I have it in the root of my build menu. Do you have gardening? I'd suspect it requires gardening, given the ability to plant stuff on it like a garden pot.

It's called Mound Bed in the build menu (B->M for hotkeys) and I have it without druidic rite.Granny wrote:I have gardening, but not yet Druidic rite. Working on that. Is there any use in raising the ground level to create a palisade? I see that some people do this and I wanted to know if it influences any game mechanics.

No reason beyond aesthetics. Unevenly sloping palisades look a bit ugly to most people, and there's a limit to how steep they can be, but it's totally possible (if fiddly) to create a smooth slope if flat ground is not available.Halberdier wrote:Is there any use in raising the ground level to create a palisade? You get wildfibres from harvesting wild string grass. You need 6 of them to make primitive cloth.mdsanta wrote:How to get primitive cloth? Failed to get the recipe opened.

I have a rather small personal claim and want to expand to increase my farmland, if I extend my palisade the new section also have its soak time making me vulnerable to cascade damage or can I just extend? If it makes me vulnerable, is second palisade layer a good idea? Even hermits need mansions in this game T_T.
