How easy it is to a no-lifer bash two layers of palisade? How much time can it take on average? Can someone do it with "bare hands"?

After 72 hours palisade become indestructible by hand. Between 0 and 72h it will slowly gain soak (durability), so after 48 hours it will be really hard to destroy without sledge hammer and several hundreds of str.Halberdier wrote:How easy it is to a no-lifer bash two layers of palisade? Re: Grand List of Simple Questions
First, palisades on claims are much stronger than palisades on unclaimed land. I'm assuming you mean the former, since the latter decay naturally and tend to be more of a liability than a sound investment.
If they can acquire the resources and are willing to spend them on it, it takes only tens of minutes of effort in the moment, since the strength requirement to operate a battering ram solo is low enough even casual players can eventually reach it without too much trouble. It's especially easy if the two palisades are not very far apart, since then the ram can just be pushed to the next one at the cost of only bone glue to repair it. It's the least of the three main costs. Brimstone and hardened leather are at least an order of magnitude harder to come by in the required amounts, but they're only required to build the ram, not to keep pushing it forward.
The biggest cost is the opportunity cost. A ram can't be built without 4 brimstone, and brimstone can't be stockpiled because it decays over time. It's difficult to gather 4 brimstone at the same time at all except for someone with a lot of knowledge and/or connections. Brimstone is also used for other things, so there's competition for the scarce supply. It's hard to build a large number of rams, and it's relatively easy for a vigilant defence (if one can be mustered) to destroy them so that the attacker finds no joy in their investment. So this encourages selective targeting.

I have a separate set of +intelligence gear I plop on when I log off to have more attention for curios. When I log back and put on my normal gear, the mental weight my dude uses is over his current max, like 70 / 55 or something.
How does this work? If I just leave it like that, do I get the LP from curios that get studied, or are they wasted if the attention is over cap, or..?

you will get the LP even if the curios are over your attention limit, however your study desk won’t refill curios over your current attentiondropbear wrote:I have a separate set of +intelligence gear I plop on when I log off to have more attention for curios.
