Deephold being raided right now

Can somone please get justice for us. Three people latched an unprovocked raid on our village and killed 2 if us. They are currently ransacking our houses. Sadly our defenses were incomplete. I imagine they will be there looting all day. We are southwest of new brodgar on a large Heath. There is a river and a swamp 1 min walk to our west. Hunters would be appreciated.

Well if the guys who raided me see this post. At least take the time to explain why you raided my village, threw my valuables on the ground, and then left after killing some people. What exactly did we do to you to deserve this? We havn't bothered anyone.

Bah. They really did me a favor. I need to get rid of some of that crap anyhow and I didn't want to spend 20 minutes tossing stuff outta my house. I just hope somone catches up with them and returns the favor for me.

No the damage they did was minimal. They killed some of us. and stole our stuff.

You know. I feel like somone just lured me into a van with candy and took advantage of me. I feel soo dirty. Oh well. Back to farming. Hey raiders, next time lock the door before you leave. You let the skunks in and now my house smells like poo.

You'd think so, however summonable scents will be your friend in this.

Use one of the scents they left to track them back to their hearth (which will most likely be in a walled compound with a mine), then mark the spot on your map, mark it well.

Plant some oaks near their walls, plant as many as you can, maybe some will stay long enough

Dedicate a month or three to building up a solid cheese production, stock up on brodgar blue, like, fill your mansion cellar with cheese racks.

Feast your alt away, push his STR like you've never pushed before.

go back to their fort, build a ram hidden by one of those oaks, if possibly build a pallisaide wall around the ram with a gate that you have the key to.

Stealthily follow the raiders on a raid so you can gather summonable scents when they are finished. Wait for raiders to log out, then use the ram to get into their fort, kill them in their sleep, wreck all their stuff.


Then have a party, with like, baloons and streamers and stuff


Also, consider joining a large village, I heard that many v 1 combat is still pretty dicey for a high-ish level character if there are medium characters involved.
Alternatively consider pushing marksmanship, stalking your pray from behind trees, then firing at him when he idles in the one place too long... Not sure if that works given the impact of armour, but I hear hq rangers bows with hq arrows can get pretty nasty
