What amazes me more than how light the punishment was, is how nothing was done about it ingame. I'm actually starting to think people are frightened that you'll do it again, so to protect the server, they work with you instead of going against you, all in the hopes that you will leave the server alone.

I believe it's still possible to palisade around caves, just not directly near them, but I'm curious if there are some other downside to the exclusion zone.Nightdawg wrote:If you announce World 16 with no cave entrance protection in the first days (cause some fucks exploited palisades and you decided to disallow everything being built near a cave entrance/exit) and watermills blocking every single river in the world that require sieging to remove, I wish you good luck jorb.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Haha it's genuinely mindblowing to me how you don't even understand what I'm talking about. Especially you of all people.

I like the idea of the most ruthless/shitty first week of a modern haven world being a inept attempt to protect Misa/Nonek from their own retardation. It's like the forager/bunny slipper thing again 1:1. Funi.Nightdawg wrote:Haha it's genuinely mindblowing to me how you don't even understand what I'm talking about. Especially you of all people.

i hope credo part will be reworked (personally want it eve-online style way - pick credo and within cooldown (might be depend stats/game boosts like sub/token (yes, please, p2w) it will finish by itself (or faster doing quests))), still most cancer thing in game.

Noooo, it's totally needed to exclude ANY building near cave entrance/exit just because some dumbasses can't peek a cave entrance they are clearly being baited into and it has a visitor gate (not to mention they made a few of these caves themselves and caught LITERALLY NOBODY in them). It totally couldn't be "fixed" just excluding palisade gates near entrances.
Anyways can't wait to get vandal on day 2 and bash everyone's fences.
