In default client the combat UI moves around the player/camera. Honestly i've no idea how long its done this for, I only noticed it today when looking at the default client for some stuff. I actually quite like it, but it breaks as soon as you mount anything. Be it a boat, sled, horse, chair, whatever.
On a second note, it goes completely off-screen in bad cam. I know bad cam isn't accesisble without using a command in default client but for me its literally the only camera that's 'playable' in this game, i can't stand the default camera personally. Honestly bad cam should just be an option in the settings in default client.
(i've no idea how to embed a video)

Also loftar said he will not support the "bad"(literally best) camera, so these bugs are expected.

aren't most clients "improved" ui just moving it to the edges of the screen and letting you drag it around?Nightdawg wrote:

I do think he should embrace bad cam, it literally is the best camera.

yeah, basically instead of attaching it yo your body, they're attaching it to the user interface instead (the screen)Pills wrote: aren't most clients "improved" ui just moving it to the edges of the screen and letting you drag it around?
Also you could argue the ortho cam is so retarded (especially on mountains, lol), but at the same time, ortho cam is really good because....
because....
uhh
surely somebody has a non-stupid argument out there. I don't.

It is not the same, in my case the combat UI is always stationary, in your case it moves and even exits the screen.Pills wrote:Don't understand what point this is supposed to make? but yes, you're showing the bug i'm talking about. Would be nice to know how you embed the video though

No that is the bug, when you're NOT mounted it moves around based on the bottom of the players skeleton. When you are mounted it becomes completely static and remains wherever it was at the point of becomming mounted.sMartins wrote:It is not the same, in my case the combat UI is always stationary, in your case it moves and even exits the screen.Pills wrote:Don't understand what point this is supposed to make? but yes, you're showing the bug i'm talking about. If you enter combat while mounted it just opens in the center of the screen.
