Re-started from scratch a few years ago, when the new rendering system has been introduced, Replica features over a hundred of enhancements and quality of life improvements, while also maintaining the full compatibility with the default client's changes and updates.

Created and maintained by Kerrigan and me (creators of one of the best legacy clients - Union Client), this client has been used privately for years by a small group of people, and now it's available for everyone.

The client focuses on several things:

In terms of security, the sources do not matter much. There are too many ways to compromise the client. Not only it would take immense effort to audit the sources to determine whether something malicious is happening or can happen at least, but the actual binary run on your PC may contain something that was not present in the source code (unless you build the client yourself).

Our repository contains not only the client code but also other things, that I do not plan to make public. Therefore, I decided to save myself from the huge infrastructural revamp, and simply left everything private.
The compiled client code is not obfuscated in any way, so you can easily check whatever you want with decompile if you want.

Over the years a lot of people used my public and private clients in Legacy Haven, Salem, and Hafen, and know full well that I never put anything malicious into my creations.

This client is great, but it's not as good as Hurricane. It's missing more features, specifically combat features, like different aggro options, switch to closest target, etc, or the option to zoom all the way out with ortho free. Although this client does have some features Hurricane doesn't, like the ability to have both a map and a minimap which I really like.

Unfortunately, both clients are missing some options found in ender, like the option to drop any specific item you want automatically. Still both clients are overall far better than enders because enders is missing way more features.

I wish there was a client that had everything.
