The world is too small

For a world that is supposed to last a bit longer than usual, I find that the size of this world is too small. That is - if those three islands are all there is. Maybe /hopefully there are areas we have not seen yet, that only are available with larger boats.

Big worlds are great for hermits and the casual crowd. It is easier to find a secluded spot. What was the size of W14? Was not that big? Even if I came in late I could find a spot away from factions in that world. Those large groups find eachother anyway. There is no need to make a world smaller, so that they can have som action.

I had hoped this world would be way bigger.

Keep in mind a new world will happen in 6 months which will reduce dramatically (imo) the population of this one.

My area is quiet enough that I assumed they'd expanded it or turned off centralized spawns or something.

I think there is some weighted spawning or something. My area is very quiet as I've only seen 3 people since world start but my partner who wanted to try out some solo haven has seen dozen of people by his claim

So I've fallen into some kind of hell. Since the beginning of the world, I have met about a hundred people.
And I've already been killed once for swimming down the river. With an iron weapon.
How is this possible at the very beginning of the world, given how long the server has been in crash? Show me a quiet place, please)

This world is nearly 9x9 supergrids. The spawn continents alone stretches out just about 9 supergrids from north to south and something like 5 supergrids west to east.

Just as big as the last few worlds. Pretty sure w15 was the same size or just slightly smaller. I don't think w14 or w13 were any different really iirc in a noticeable way besides spawn locations and continent positions/sizes. If anything w15 may have felt bigger simply because the two spawn continents were massive in the middle.

early world is gross, but at least the spawn was better, maybe Steam will aggravate the usual problems, so its a patience game as always
